Hi, my name is Janet. I offer a range of gentle yoga and keep fit classes suitable for all ages and levels of ability.  My intention is that anyone, regardless of age, experience or current level of health and fitness can find a class that perfectly fits their needs.


What we do and how we do it changes over time.  Practicing yoga and keeping fit becomes more not less important as we get older.  Fitness may become less about how we look and more about how we feel; physically, mentally, and emotionally.  My classes are thoughtfully tailored to cater for your individual needs. I teach people not yoga or fitness.  People are at the heart of every class I teach.  There is no 'one size fits all'.  We are all unique and our needs are different at different stages in our lives, they even change from day to day.  My gentle yoga and keep fit classes encourage you to honour your uniqueness, tune into your own body, notice how you feel, and notice what feels good.  If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't right for you.


Your time is precious, and I am honoured that you choose to spend it with me.  I aim to make each class a thoroughly enjoyable experience.  As you move away from the pressures of modern life, you will learn ways to move your body more freely, more easily, and more often. 


And while the body needs more movement, our minds need more stillness.  Classes can be a chance to switch off from your day-to-day worries and responsibilities.  Each class is designed to improve not only your physical health but also your mental, social, and emotional health too. I teach the whole person, and I teach with heart and soul. I want you to come away from each class feeling whole, nourished, relaxed, and renewed.

I currently teach gentle yoga and keep fit classes in Frodsham, Kingsley, Kelsall, Runcorn and Widnes.  While all classes are gentle some are gentler than others, including some chair-based classes, and classes for those who wish to avoid floorwork.
