Yoga retreats and socials are a great way to get to know other like-minded people, make new friends, relax and reflect, and simply get away from your day-to-day commitments and make time for yourself.
Retreats offer us extended time away from our day-to-day lives to relax in beautiful, natural surroundings where we practice yoga, enjoy leisurely walks, and connect with like-minded people.
These immersive experiences also offer us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and to connect more deeply with our inner self.
These short retreats held over long weekends are designed to be affordable and accessible to all, yet still offer a truly authentic and enjoyable experience. Carefully chosen, off-the-beaten-track locations with stunning scenery give these retreats natural charm and a certain “wow” factor.
My intention is that you return feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, with a renewed sense of purpose, and passion for life!
Walking
Testimony to the very friendly and sociable nature of the people who attend the classes, we regularly go out walking together. The walks are leisurely, accessible to all, and give us the opportunity to get to know one another better and discover the beautiful Cheshire countryside on our doorstep. Friends and family who may not do yoga are always welcome to join us.
Extras
Now and again, I try to offer something a little bit different such as cosy candle-lit sessions at Christmas or Diwali, or outdoor yoga to celebrate the Summer Solstice. We have even tried Laughing Yoga!
Some of us have travelled together to events and retreats arranged by other organisations. One of my personal favourites is the Manjushri Meditation Centre in Ulverston.
